Eagles Trade Hasson Reddick to Jets for a conditional third round draft pick.

Preparing for their second year with Aaron Rodgers, the Jets are going all out, making a significant trade on Friday.
According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, New York is acquiring edge rusher Haason Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles. The deal involves the Jets sending a conditional 2026 third-round pick for Reddick, with the conditions potentially changing based on his performance.
Specifically, if Reddick achieves 67.5% playtime and records at least 10 sacks, the compensation could vary, Rapoport noted. Additionally, for the 2024 season (the final year of his current contract), the Jets will take on $14.5 million of Reddick's total compensation, while the Eagles will account for Reddick's $1 million roster bonus that was due in March, as reported by NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo.
Ultimately, this is a great move on paper for the Jets. Reddick averaged over 12.5 sacks during his last four seasons and should be a real difference-maker for the Jets' defense.
