Jaylen Brown, often viewed as the most underrated superstar in the NBA, was totally surprised when his name was announced as the Larry Bird Eastern Conference Finals MVP.

Based on Brown's shocked reaction, it was clear that he thought Jayson Tatum was going to win, as he averaged more rebounds and assists per game in the series than Brown. But for anyone who watched all four games of the series, it was pretty easy to see why the award went to the always-hustling Brown.

Brown led the Celtics with another fantastic effort, scoring 29 points while collecting six rebounds. He went 11 of 22 from the field and 4 of 8 from the 3-point arc. For the series, he averaged 29.8 points per game, hit numerous clutch shots, and had several memorable blocks throughout the series.

The Boston Celtics completed their sweep of the Indiana Pacers on Monday with a 105-102 victory. Brown was the focal point of the sweep; still, it wasn't Brown's overall stats but some of his biggest moments that clinched this award for him.

Case in point with less than 10 seconds left in Game 1 and the Celtics were trailing by three, Jrue Holiday looked for Brown, who was being smoothered by Pascal Siakam. He fired up a corner pocket three-pointer, which tied the game and eventually led to a Celtics win in overtime.
