Ant-Man And Jokic Have Delivered In Almost Everyway So Far
From a pure entertainment perspective, the series has delivered in almost every way imaginable, except for a buzzer-beater game-winner.

First things first. Nikola Jokic, amid an epic battle with Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves, continues to prove that he is one of the greatest showmen in the NBA as he announced four SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired shoes coming out soon as part of his affiliation with 361 Degrees. Seriously, while the shoe line is brilliant, having the nerve to release them to the world during his seven-game series shows us once again why the Jokic is the Joker.
There is no word yet on whether Adidas plans to release a Marval-themed Anthony Edwards line. But if they sold an Edwards Incredible Hulk shoe, I would buy it.
Now when the series started, most observers were hopeful that the Minnesota Timberwolves Denver Nuggets round 2 series would be more than the defending champs' moving to the next round in five games or less.
From a pure entertainment perspective, the series has delivered in almost every way imaginable, except for a buzzer-beater game-winner.
Games 2, 3, 5, and 6 have essentially been blowout games, making the game-to-game adjustments absolutely fascinating. From the Wolves surprising everyone by winning the first two games to the media immediately jumping on the sweeping storyline to the Nuggets rattling off three games in a row, we saw many of those same media members swaying back and forth like a canoe in the ocean.
All of the above somehow culminated in the Timberwolves' historic game 6 win, which they won by 45 points. It was the second-largest win of all time for a team facing elimination. You have to go all the way back to the 1956 Minneapolis Lakers, who beat the St. Louis Hawks 133 to 75.
Game 6 was also the largest playoff win vs. a reigning champion, and the Wolves are the first team in any game in over 25 years with multiple 20-0 runs in a game, which is saying a lot when you consider how bad the Detroit Pistons were this year.
Going into game 7, the only prediction I feel comfortable making is that the winner of game 7 will do it by blowing out the other team.
